Dr. Dean S. Steinberger, O.D. is from Los Angeles and graduated from UC San Diego. He obtained his optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1997. Dr. Steinberger has interned in many specialties of eye care including refractive surgery, ocular disease/glaucoma, and children’s vision-related learning disabilities.
Dr. CHUA, OD

Dr. Chua graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA in 1995. She worked in the optometry field for a year before continuing her own training and completing her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Southern California College of Optometry in 2000. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York to start her career as an optometrist in various practices, but being a true Californian at heart, she returned to LA in 2002 where she has been practicing since. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and playing all sports.
Dr. HOLMES, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Holmes practices evidence-based medicine with a genuine enthusiasm for human connection. She completed her undergraduate coursework in molecular biology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Inspired by her mom’s diagnosis with a rare eye disease, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley. She has extensive training in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She completed clinical externships at Omni Eye Services in the Greater New York City Area, the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, and the Miami VA Hospital, in addition to her on campus training at the UC Eye Center. For her work studying the efficacy of orthokeratology lenses for myopia control, she graduated with the distinction of Honors in Research and Clinical Science.
In her free time, she is an avid ceramics maker and fresh air enthusiast. She also enjoys home-cooked meals, art, dogs, a good book, and film photography.
Dr. EMILY SCHWARTZ, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Emily Schwartz, O.D. was raised in Ventura County, California. She completed her undergraduate education at CSUCI, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to graduate in 2021 as the Valedictorian of her class from the Southern California College of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry.
